Jimmy Sta. Rosa
Elder

My name is Jimmy Sta. Rosa. I grew up in Kent. I met my wife April while we were at Kent Meridian High School as part of the marching band.
She brought me to her church and I accepted Christ as my savior after a lecture on Revelation.

During the week I am an estimator for a commercial painting company and April at a local HVAC company as a contract administrator amongst other duties. Our daughter Sophia attends a small university in North Carolina in hopes of becoming a book editor.

My family has been a part of Faith Church for about 14 years. I started serving at Faith with the Kids and transitioned to Student Ministries about eight years ago and have really fallen in love with the students. As a worker in Faith Student Ministries, I get to co-lead a group of high school boys and occasionally teach a lesson on Sunday mornings for the students.

I  have also been an usher for most of our time here. It is my great honor to greet you all each Sunday morning as we start our worship time together.

My prayer is to be used by God for His glory. In this role of elder I plan to share the experience and wisdom God has blessed me with and help us build a household that is winsome, welcoming, and a blessing for all our neighbors.
