Jeff grew up in the small town of West Seattle. Although he had been sent to Sunday School in grade school and clearly heard the gospel, it was the witness of his friends in the sophomore year of high school that Jeff accepted Jesus as his Savior. Jeff has been serving and growing in Christ in many varied ministries in the years since. As a young man after a summer mission to Japan, he felt called to pursue ministry full time, which included getting his degree at Western Seminary, Portland, OR. God closed that door and he has been serving in lay ministry since. Jeff and Karen have been married 40 years and have raised 5 children at Faith. They have 10 grandchildren, soon to be 11. Both Karen and Jeff are retired from secular work. The Dials have been attending Faith for 37 years. Jeff has served in leadership, deacon and elder,. as well as helping in AWANA, MOPS, Sunday School teacher (kids and adults), Life Group facilitator, MEGA leader, Kids Praise Musicals, and Sunday Morning tech. He is excited to be part of growing of the Kingdom through Faith Church.
